a. Stripe Integration Data

With your authorization, we access read-only data from your connected Stripe account, including:

• Checkout sessions (to verify purchases)
• Products and prices (to match to downloadable files)

We do not collect or store customer credit card numbers or other sensitive payment information.

b. Files and Download Content

We store digital files you upload in Cloudflare R2, a secure object storage platform. These files are served only after verifying a valid purchase. You are solely responsible for the contents of uploaded files.

We do not monitor, review, or moderate file content, and we are not liable for any legal, ethical, or reputational issues arising from that content. However, we may remove or disable access to files if required by law or if they violate our Terms of Service.

c. Account and Usage Data

We may collect metadata such as:

• Email address and login activity
• IP addresses and browser/device info
• Download history and timestamps
• Error reports and performance metrics

This information helps us deliver reliable, secure service and prevent fraud or abuse.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Verify Stripe purchases
• Serve download links securely
• Provide customer support
• Analyze usage and improve performance
• Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data.

We share information only with trusted service providers as necessary to operate DownloadPage. This includes:

• Stripe (for payment verification)
• Cloudflare R2 (for secure file storage and delivery)
• PostHog (for privacy-respecting product analytics)

These providers may process limited metadata (such as request logs or anonymized usage stats) to help us understand how the platform is used and improve user experience. All third parties are required to treat your data securely and in compliance with applicable laws.

4. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS, encryption-at-rest, access controls, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Data Retention

• Purchase metadata is retained while your account is active.
• Uploaded files remain available until deleted or until your account is closed.
• Access logs and analytics data may be retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostics.
